NEW YORK – Its annual gala was organized by the Delphi Chapter of AHEPA in Manhattan, Delphi 25, during which the Pantelidis brothers (Peter, George and James) were honored. The event was held at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park.
The three brothers have many decades of contribution to the Greek diaspora, with AHEPA honoring them in a beautiful evening in a moving atmosphere. The president of the Delphi Department, Theodoros Klingos, delivered a greeting and noted the presence of many distinguished guests and community actors.
The Consul General of Greece in New York, Konstantinos Constantinou, in his speech spoke about how the AHEPA Delphi Department since its inception in 1923 has helped Greek immigrants and that the special event that celebrated Hellenism and honored the Pantelidis brothers highlighted that Greeks not only can they achieve anything they put their minds to but above all they value family ties. He thanked the Pantelidis brothers for their offer and the great example they set.
