The International Museum Day is celebrated on May 18 and institutions all over the country are opening their doors, with free entrance, while organising special events.
This year is dedicated to the theme "Museums, Sustainability and Well-Being."
The full programme of events in Greece by the local branch of the International Council of Museums is available on its website https://icom-greece.mini.icom.museum/wp-content/uploads/sites/38/2023/05/IMD_2023_Program_WEB2.pdf
