Titan Foods that shut down unexpectedly, bringing sorrow to its loyal customers, will reopen soon, some time this spring, on Steinway Street and 23rd Road.
The excitement about the reopening is apparent all over the social media and given the grocery store’s longevity, it comes as no surprise.
The original Titan Foods first opened in Queens at 25-50 31st Street back in 1984. In the early ’90s, it moved to 25-56 31st Street in Astoria, the address that closed down last year, a development directly related to a building sale.
Although forced to cease in-person operations for a while, Titan Foods continued its business online, offering nationwide shipping and free local delivery for their delicious food offerings that include among other a great variety of feta cheeses, different types of olives and oils, halva, Greek yogurts, natural honey, pasta, homemade foods like spanakopitas and moussakas, and many more, keeping the Greek flavor alive!
