The BBC reports "about 200 huge footprints, which were created 166 million years ago." The footprints reveal the paths of two different types of dinosaurs. It is believed that one, the largest, is a long-necked sauropod, the herbivorous cetiosaur, and the smallest, a carnivorous megalosaur. The longest tracks identified stretch for 150 meters and only a small part of the quarry has been excavated so far.

Professor of paleobiology, Richard Butler, said: "This is by far the largest dinosaur spotting site in the UK. In fact, it's one of the largest dinosaur trail sites in the world."
