Foreign Ministers of Cyprus and Russia discussed over the phone the Cyprus problem, developments in Cyprus’ exclusive economic zone (EEZ) and bilateral issues, among other issues, during a “cordial & constructive conversation”, according to a message posted by Cyprus’ Foreign Ministry on twitter.
In particular, Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides had cordial and constructive conversation with Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, during which they exchanged views on COVID-19 pandemic, recent developments in Cyprus` EEZ and in the broader Eastern Mediterranean, the message says.
The two Ministers also had a timely discussion on the Cyprus problem, while following up on issues of bilateral interest, the tweet concludes.
