Finance Minister urges rapid development of Greek UAV’s


Finance Minister Christos Staikouras requested for the rapid research and development of the innovative design and industrial production of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) by the Hellenic Aerospace Industry (EAB).

The Finance Minister expressed his satisfaction with the steps taken towards building the much needed, creative and reliable cooperation between Greek Universities and EAB to produce Greek UAV’s.

He believes this will allow Greece to become a producer in the field of high and innovative technology products.

Staikouras stressed his willingness to assist in completing the UAV project as soon as possible with the lowest possible public cost and the highest quality and reliability so that the product is internationally competitive.

The Finance Minister concluded by stating that “we all have a duty to prove that we want and can achieve partnerships between science, research and innovation with industry and production in general to make Greece more powerful on the international stage.”
