Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou will visit the southeastern Aegean island of Kastellorizo on September 13 amid heightened tensions in the Eastern Mediterranean, according to reports Wednesday.
Her visit will take place on the 77th anniversary of the island’s liberation.
