Mass mobilizations of pupils and students took place today (7 February) throughout Greece. Under the slogan "I have no more oxygen" – heard by the victims shortly after the accident and shortly before they died – thousands of young people took to the streets to demonstrate in memory of their peers, who perished so prematurely and so unjustly.

Pupils, students and teachers in Athens, demanding justice for the tragedy of Tempi, gathered in Propylaia and then headed to Syntagma Square, with banners reading "I have no more oxygen", "It's not an accident", "It's a crime" and other slogans showing the indignation of young people.

The same took place in Thessaloniki, a large rally took place, while mobilizations took place in other major cities of the country.

The country's teachers participated in the mobilization with a three-hour work stoppage, which lasted until 14:00 (local time in Greece).

Due to the march, the metro stations "Syntagma" and "Panepistimio" remained closed, while the traffic of vehicles on Panepistimiou Street, from the height of Amerikis Street, was stopped.

Today's protests were a prelude to the big mobilization on February 28, when it marks two years since the tragedy of Tempe.
