Members of the Hellenic American Networking Group gathered (September 16th), as they do every month, at Kyma Roslyn, in New York, in a very successful networking event!

HANG began in March of 2013 and came about because Maria Drakos, President and Managing Director of The John Michael Group recognized that there was a void for networking within the Greek American community on Long Island. The Group is run by Co-founder Demetra Maheras Tsismenakis, VP of Business Development of My Strategic Payroll and more recently we recruited John Zervopoulos, Partner of Salenger, Sack, Kimmel & Bavaro, LLP.

We come together on a monthly basis meeting the third Monday of the month. Our membership has grown to approximately 1000 members and although the focus was to cater to the LI community our events are well attended by members from NJ, NYC, Brooklyn, Queens and of course Long Islanders.

The purpose of HANG is to unite the Hellenic American community, where professionals and entrepreneurs can come together in a like minded environment to build strong business relationships.
