Almost 10,000 fans attended the first tennis match to see Stefanos Tsitsipas and the national tennis team compete for the second time in the Davis Cup against Slovakia, at the Greek Panathenaic Stadium.

The home of the first modern Olympic Games hosted the prestigious Davis Cup, the top men’s tennis international team event hailed as the “World Cup of Tennis”.
Every year, only 18 teams progress from the preliminaries to the final knock-out rounds.
The outcome of the event was somewhat ambiguous but nevertheless nearly 10,000 Greek fans were there!
