According to the little information that has been leaked so far as the organizing committee is sparing about the details of the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics, the event will take place on a 2,800-square-meter stage at the Stade de France and will be titled "Record."

Among those who will appear will be acrobats, break dancers as well as the gymnastics department of the very active firefighters of Paris, while Tom Cruise is expected to give "air" Hollywood with an impressive appearance reminiscent of Mission: Impossible.
The ceremony will begin at 9pm on Sunday, August 11 and will end around 11.30pm. According to the information leaked so far, the artists who will star will be on the ground, in the air, but also on a metal platform that seems to be for some reason very important for the development of the show. A key component of the ceremony is the delivery of the flame to Los Angeles, which will host the Olympic Games in 2028.
Rumors about the presence of big stars at the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics are rife. Le Parisien newspaper was the first media outlet to officially announce the names of some of the stars who will attend the event, either to perform or attend. According to the newspaper, Phoenix and Air, two iconic French Touch bands, will perform at the Stade de France. As well as the master of such huge events, Jean-Michel Jarre.
Actor Tom Cruise is also expected to be present to symbolize the tradition from Paris to Los Angeles. The protagonist of "Mission: Impossible" is expected to perform a spectacular stunt for the occasion.
What stunt will this be? Late on Thursday, April 25, 2024, many Parisians shared on social media images of the American star, in the midst of filming on the streets of Paris, perched on a motorcycle at high speed. But it turned out that it wasn't shooting the next Mission Impossible movie. Tom Cruise was then spotted in various parts of the city: Near Saint-Georges metro station, near the Bir-Hakeim Bridge and Carnot Avenue, just a few metres from the Arc de Triomphe. It is said that in those days scenes of the 61-year-old actor were filmed to create some video to be used in the ceremony.
Le Parisien newspaper claimed that Tom Cruise will star in a 7-8 minute theme, in which he is expected to perform an excellent acrobatic, as he descends with a rappel rope to the Stade de France.
"I want to celebrate this fragile monument that is the Olympic Games. In fact, they disappeared in ancient times before being revived. We imagined a show in which the Games have disappeared again..." explained director Tomás Joly to L'Équipe.
A dystopian performance, in which viewers will be immersed in a world where several years have passed since the last Olympic Games.
Unlike the Opening Ceremony, where performances took place in various parts of Paris, the Closing Ceremony of the Olympic Games, which will be titled "Record", will take place in an indoor space and will include performances by circus performers, acrobats and members of the Paris fire brigade's fitness department.
Tomás Joly, who was the man behind the Opening Ceremony, which provoked a variety of reactions and came under fire over some of the sections he presented in a sharply divisive manner, clarified that "I wanted to send a message of love, inclusion, not division."
We are therefore looking forward to seeing what he has prepared for the Closing Ceremony.
