The German and No. 79 in the world ranking surprised Tsitsipas in the first set and until the final 3-6 left no room for reaction to the No. 18 in the world rankings.
However, Tsitsipas' excellent performance in the second set again made the Greek tennis player threatening, who kept his serve steady and achieved the equalizer with 6-4.
In the third set, Tsitsipas' dominant performance led the world No. 18 to a comfortable 6-3 and to qualify for the next round, where he will face the Italian and No. 11 in the world ranking, Lorenzo Musetti.
When Tsitsipas did not understand how he had won the last point of the 3rd set and the match, he rushed to sit in his chair, but when he saw the crowd applauding, but also the opponent going towards him to give him his hand, then he realized that he was the winner.
