Canadian company to open offices in Athens to create 600 jobs

A Canadian company has announced it is expanding its operations in Europe and is to create more than 600 jobs in Athens, a city it says that is one of the biggest economic hubs in southeastern Europe.

The customer-care and technology company 24-7 Intouch announced it would be opening its 18th campus in the Greek capital.

“The 50,000+ square-foot campus will be home to some of the most recognized brands in the world, and the new space will emulate the corporate culture, client partner branding, and unique design elements of 24-7 Intouch’s current locations,” 24-7 Intouch said in its statement.

The company said Athens was an important economic hub in the region with a well-educated workforce that could speak English, French and other languages as well.

“Athens is a perfect fit for us from a service culture and community perspective, and we are excited to create new partnerships in the European market,” said the company.
