Greece urged to impound Russian-flagged oil tanker

United Against Nuclear Iran, a bipartisan, nonprofit advocacy organization in the US, has urged the Greek government to proceed immediately with the impounding of the Russian-flagged oil tanker Pegas, which has been moored at Karystos on the southern coast of Evia since April, and loaded with Iranian oil.


Greece seeks common EU line

Greece is seeking a safe road to smoothly continue the country’s supply of Russian natural gas and preserve its energy sufficiency, in a cacophony within the European Union caused by Moscow’s demand to change the way it is paid.


Six Greek participants in EU Cities Mission

Athens, Thessaloniki, Kalamata, Ioannina, Trikala and Kozani have been selected from among 377 European cities by the European Commission to participate in its program for 100 climate-neutral and smart cities by 2030 – the so-called Cities Mission.
