U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris has accepted CNN's invitation to participate in a new debate on Oct. 23, her staff announced.

"Donald Trump should have no problem agreeing to this debate. It's the same format and context as the CNN debate she participated in and said she won in June when she praised CNN's moderators, rules and ratings," Kamala Harris campaign manager Jen O'Malley Dillon said in a statement.
Trump's campaign has not responded to a request for comment.
